The children's folklore sections of Bascarsija have over 130 members which are arranged in multiple groups: Performing children's ensembles and Preparatory children's ensembles. Each school year these groups are being expanded with children from folklore sections from several primary schools with which Bascarsija actively cooperates.

All choreographies are composed of games/dances, songs, movements and melodies that children used to perform in folk tradition. The youngest members with entertainment and very quickly adopt and perform the aforementioned choreographies and many other games. They present the Bosnian-Herzegovinian children's tradition in BiH and abroad.

The professional leaders of the children's folklore groups were: Vinko Babic, Hariz Fehric, Muhamed Huric, Nadira Vranac, Vildana Sadovic, Dzeraldina Numic, Amir Cohkovic, Diana Budalica, Nermana Semic, Bakir Terza, Zinaida Fehric, Mirza Skopljak, Enisa Oprasic, Borcic Djuro, Emina Hrnjic, Minela Memeledzija, Nedima Krasic, Namir Comaga, Samra Colic, Timur Delic, Dzeneta Delic, Azra Deovic, Merima Hodzic, Sumeja Suljic, Nejra Karovic, Senita Muhic, Naida Efendic.
